The next instalment of our Wollangambe exploration.
Limited numbers. Park one car at GR 652 942 near Tessellate Hill access track and another one on Danes Way, Mount Irvine. Walk/swim/boulder/scramble down the gorge to the planned exit point at GR 646 967 (new to the leader). Climb towards Tessellate Hill, visit the Tessellated Pavements and the area around it, then walk back to the vehicles. Bring helmet (mandatory) and dry bags. Wet suit strongly recommended. Lilo optional. Must be able to swim well. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 8 km.
