- Hat Hill Creek is only two km from the village of Blackheath. The walk begins in bush above Hat Hill creek and follows a rough track down to the creek. We encounter some spectacular pagoda country and climb onto several spurs above the creek. The walking is steep and off track so there will be plenty of opportunities to rest and take photos. Highlights of the walk include lovey creek sections, a magnificent hanging swamp and a great overhang cave. The exit involves an easy climb through the cliffs where fixed ropes are in place. There are some creek crossings so wet feet are possible. The total distance is around 6 Km.
