- Find out for yourself why this unique area must be better protected for future generations. Park at Airly Mountain or on the plateau at GR 250 324. Walk to the top part of The Grotto, then north to the bottom end of Ladders Defile. After a quick visit, explore the highly dissected terrain of pagodas, slots and spurs to the east, bounded by Genowlan Creek gorge. Return via Lyrebird Defile. Scrambling and exposure. About 6km.
