Nature Connection Walk - Pagodas, rocks and views

- Nature connection walks are short walks of grade 3 maximum, which are conducted at quieter slow pace to allow time for photography or other place sharing. We stop for an hour or so for morning tea to have our own nature connection activity - whatever that is. I usually bring along reference material (birds, maps, history etc. of the area) for interest also. My activity is nature journaling so I will sit and paint/ write for the hour. This walk will either be amongst the Pagodas on the Eastern side of Hassans Walls Reserve in Lithgow (if shade or inclement weather) or at Castle Head on Narrow Neck Plateau Katoomba (if the weather is mild enough to sit in the open). In either case the walk will involve ascents of less than 100m on tracks and be less than 8km and be a half day only. Walk is cancelled in bad weather. I will confirmthe location one week before based on weather forecast
