Nature Connection Walk - Fungi in the forest

- Nature connection walks are short walks of grade 3 maximum, which are conducted at quieter slow pace to allow time for photography or other place sharing. We stop for an hour or so for morning tea to have our own nature connection activity - whatever that is. I usually bring along reference material (birds, maps, history etc. of the area) for interest also. My activity is nature journaling so I will sit and paint/ write for the hour. This walk will either be at Mermaids Cave Reserve or Centennial Glen Reserve near Blackheath depending on which has the best fungi options. In either case the walk may involve ascents/descents of less than 100m on tracks and be less than 8km and be a half day only. Walk is cancelled in bad weather. I will confirm the location one week before based on weather forecast and my fungi reccy.
