Mount Hay Summit and continue to Venus Tor.

- We will walk from the carpark at the end of the Mount Hay Road to the summit of Mount Hay along a well defined route. Not too demanding with great views and a change in altitude of about 170m. We then drop down on the north-east side and follow a less obvious track to Venus Tor which means crossing a ledge with exposure to get to the eastern side of the tor. The descent from Mt Hay summit to this point is 190m. We then retrace our steps to the start. Distance is about 7km and total ascent is 362m. Start time is 9:30 am from the usual place near Leura Public School. I have space for two more passengers and could pick up same from Springwood Station at 8:45.
