From the Linden Ridge Fire Trail we negotiate a side ridge down to Woodford Creek before climbing up the other side to join another ridge that will take us to Blue Mountain and the start of the Lawson Ridge Fire Trail. The first ridge is scrubby in places but not difficult. I have nick named it “Golf Ball Ridge” for reasons that will become obvious. The second ridge is more open and pleasant to walk along and Woodford creek is a delight. There are lower mountains views to be had in places and the boronia and other wild flowers should be on display. We will need to do a car shuffle.
