- Park at the locked gate at the start of Gospers Ridge Trail. Walk on the trail and then use Ivy League Pass to descend to the Colo River near the end of Mount Townsend spur. Make our way back to Gospers Ridge Trail via the unnamed pass pioneered by the bushwalker Geoff Goodyear. About 13 km. Scrambling and exposure. Exploratory for the leader.
