Hat Hill Creek at Blackheath is a great Summer trip. The creek has little waterfalls short swims, wading, open creek sections and constrictions with beautiful mossy walls. Just before the creek plunges into the Grose Valley there are pools to relax in while enjoying panoramic views. Members must be confident swimmers. Wet suits are recommended. Helmets are required and I have some for members to use. There are no abseils.
