- This starts as a walk on track to from Hat Hill Car Park to Bennetts Lookout. A tiny scramble is needed to get onto the lookout where you are rewarded by great views of the Grose Valley. After that we skirt round the lookout dropping below through a Secret Seven entry to Brownes Pass. From there we walk down a slow ramp/ ledge ramp then double back to a steep ridge descent to the Grose Valley. A tape may be required in one section. We then cross over by the Pierces pass swimming pool (where we will lunch and possibly swim) and make our way back to the pass top on Bells Line of Road. This is a 5 to 6 hr walk with about 600 m ascent.
