October Creek is not named on the Mount Wilson topographic map, but you can easily find it: it is the creek that runs North into Du Faurs Creek. This walk will start at the Southern end of the Bogey Holes Track and will follow some of the open ridges on the Eastern side of October Creek. It should be a fairly short day, and is mostly delightful walking in open grassy forest, but has been graded 4 because it is almost all off track, there are some short scrambling sections, and there will be about a 20 minute push through thick scrub.
