David Crevasse is a short canyon in the Grose Valley about 4 km from the Mt Banks picnic area. There are six abseils, longest 20m, in a lovely green, rainforest gully. The exit is a steep climb up a gully. The is a 12m vertical rock face involving prussiking on a fixed rope. Canyoners must be able to prussik. To make the trip more enjoyable bikes can be ridden on the fire trail or members may walk, starting 30 minutes before the bike riders. Please advise if you are riding a bike.
