Canyons Northside of Bells Line

- Description
- Two short unpublished canyons on the northern side of the Bells Line of Road. On the way to the second canyon we'll check out Interesting rock formations and have lunch at a lookout with great views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Scrub and some off track walking/scrambling. Car shuffle required. Approximately 8 abseil pitches upto 30metres depending upon if we take the wet or dry line. There is a compulsory short wade generally around thigh or knee deep. The wet line involves abseiling in a waterfall followed by a short swim or wade. Total distance approximately 6km. This activity is suitable for grade 5 (advanced canyoners) or grade 4 (working towards advanced canyoners). A safety ratio will need to be reached before accepting grade 4 canyoners.
