Boars head abseil follows a series of gullies and ledges below the Boars Head rock formation at Katoomba. There are 5 abseils mostly in the 25m range, including a somewhat exposed abseil from a slot (which will have a safety line rigged). The longest final abseil is about 50m but in a couple of stages. We return up Devils Hole.
This abseil trip is suitable for people with a moderate level of experience and with a tolerance for exposure.
