Blue Gum swamp is situated at Winmalee in the lower Blue Mountains. The walk begins at the locked gate at the end of White Cross Rd and follows a well defined walking track to the Blue Gum Swamp. From here there is a steep climb to Bees Nest Hill and on to Grose Mountain lookout for expansive views. A further climb on a rough track brings us to Grose Head South. We retrace our steps and return to the Blue Gum Swamp and back to the car park. The walk is around 10 km total and is suitable for less experienced walkers.
